Sunday School has been on 'vacation' for the summer but will resume on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 at 9:00 a.m. We will be continuing the study of "Women of the Bible". Plan to join us each Sunday morning prior to Worship Service for an hour of Bible Study.
Once more the Todd's have invited Bethel to have the Annual Picnic at their house. It will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. The main meat course and beverages will be provided. Todd's address is 2179 Linwood Drive, Allison Park, PA . There will be games for all ages, plan to end the summer with fun and food at the picnic.
This year's annual Vacation Bible School is entitled: "FINDING DORY". Children 4 years old and up are invited to come for a week of "fishy" Bible stories. The fun begins on MONDAY, JULY 11 and runs through Friday. The time for this week's event is 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. There is no fee but a free will offering will be gathered. Pre-registration is preferred but not necessary by calling 412-486-5777, leave your name, phone number and age of child(ren).

Please join us for Maundy Thursday worship service. There will be holy communion and the stripping of the altar. Service begins at 7:00 p.m.
Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church will be holding an Easter Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit First Trinity Lutheran Church mission to the homeless.
We will observe the penitential season of Lent with a series of midweek Lenten services, beginning with a service of Holy Communion on Ash Wednesday, February 10. This will be followed by a series of five services focusing on the theme: “Scenes of His Suffering.” The specific messages in this series are as follows:
Feb. 17 “The Upper Room” (Mark 14:13-15)
Feb. 24 “The Garden” (John 18:1)
Mar. 2 “The High Priest’s House” (Luke 22:54)
Mar. 9 “The Praetorium” (Mark 15:16)
Mar. 16 “The Place of the Skull” (John 19:17)
Each service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Join us as we walk with our Savior the way of the cross.
All parishioners are encouraged to attend the Annual Congregational Budget Meeting on Sunday, December 13 following the morning worship service.
